Ok, so I went to Anime Expo in Orange County on July 3rd and got really inspired by all the cool artbooks that were on sale(i bought two. killed by wallet by completely worth it). Soo, while i was waiting for one of the events, i drew this! :D i'm pretty happy with it. I was thinking of edward scissorhands when I drew it but what i really wanted to do with this piece was use some of the color schemes and techniques i saw in the artbooks.

I liked him so much that when i was done, i wanted to mess around with the image a little more. So i mirrored him and drew a opposite version....i realize that the guy on the left already looks pretty evil but his other version is an even EVILER version, haha.

anyhow, it's been awhile and i just wanted to do something for those who watch me. :heart:

*edit* the number 72,543 is the number of hits i had while i was drawing this so...that's why i used that number for the title. I know, i could have chosen something like 70,000hits or 72,000 hits but...that number is always so inaccurate, you know? ok, well it doesn't matter since it's already been done.

that's beautiful! just amazing and inspiring.
I really love the opposing color and each seems to give the character a different attitude.

that's what I love about colors
the could totally change the atmosphere of an image :)
