Letter to DA
Hey everyone! How are you? That's cool. Yeah, I've been alright. Oh yeah? Interesting. Oh, well I'm taking a couple Vis classes this quarter. One of them is called strategies of self - I'm doing a project about how I used to be addicted to DeviantArt actually! You might like it.
The main focus of the piece is how like, a BIG part of my highschool identity was my online persona on DA - how I would sit in class counting the minutes until I could go home and obsess over it, choosing to lock myself up in my room over socializing with my friends.
Yeah. You did that too? Hm. That's true. Well. I mean, in retrospect it was a really positive thing.
